Blast from the past. Several years ago, a group of comics fans was organizing a tribute comic anthology to Moebius (Jean Giraud) that fell apart before it got going. But in preparation I did this index card homage to Bee Thousand by Guided by Voices, planning to make a short comic for the anthology inspired by their music. (I think the text was faux Arabic for “Bee Thousand.”)
